Defect details: Due to environmental factors on the road, the secondary hood latch device may become stuck in the open state, and under these conditions, if the primary hood latch device is opened incorrectly, such as by confusing it with the fuel filler opening button when refueling, the hood may not close properly. This recall is due to the possibility that if the secondary hood latch device fails to remain closed while the vehicle is in motion, the hood may open without warning, obstructing the driver's forward vision, increasing the risk of a collision
