Defect details: Moisture may flow into the ground terminal of the ABS (anti-lock brake system) module connected to the shock tower located in front of the passenger seat engine room, and the inflow moisture may change into moisture and enter the ABS module along the ABS module ground line. This may result in the ABS or ESC (vehicle stability control) systems not functioning. ABS/ESC malfunction may cause abnormal changes in braking power and handling, which may cause an accident without prior knowledge. <*Corrective action period: 2016.03.15 ~ until completion>

Correction method: After checking the surface of the grounding wires 16 and 47 of the ABS module connector terminal for corrosion, if there is no corrosion, the existing shrink tube mounted on the ABS module ground terminal will be removed to prevent moisture inflow and a new shrink tube will be installed. If there is corrosion, the ABS module ground wire will be replaced and a new shrink tube installed. If necessary, the ABS module will also be replaced.
