Defect details: <p>During diagnosis of the vehicle's fuel tank ventilation system, a malfunction was identified. A fault memory entry is entered when the first fault is detected. If this fault is recognized again in the second driving cycle, the emission warning light is activated. This exhaust gas warning light is suppressed because the diagnosis itself is blocked after the first fault is detected. Therefore, the diagnosis is not performed a second time and additional catalytic converter and lambda sensor diagnosis is blocked, resulting in a recall due to the possibility that emissions-related defects may not be displayed to customers and the exhaust gas warning light may not be activated in the event of a malfunction.
